YouTube Presentation sponsored by Prince Edward Historical Society (PEHS) Cholera Pandemic of 1832.
On June 30, 2022, as Sandra Latchford was walking by a row of headstones that had been moved to Glenwood over 70 years ago, she was drawn to one in particular – that of Ann Carnahan, a caregiver who died on June 30, 1832 of Cholera. This led Sandra President of the Prince Edward Historical Society, and Krista Richardson of the PEC Archives, to research the Cholera pandemic of 1832, and its impact on Prince Edward County and Upper and Lower Canada.
